Purpose-built rigs
Much of this work involves building the test equipment as well as running the test. Where a product characteristic has no standard instrument, we design and build a rig for it, including the electronics, since PCB design is held in-house.
Results are logged rather than observed, so a claim about a product or a machine can be supported with data rather than with recollection.

Test and analysis appear at both ends of a project: characterising a product or an existing process before design work starts and verifying acceptance criteria before equipment ships.
