Packing is where most of our rebuild and upgrade work is concentrated, because these machines are mechanically complex, long-lived, and expensive to replace outright.

Rebuild and upgrade

A well-specified rebuild delivers new-machine-level performance, with the potential to exceed original specification, at a fraction of the capital cost and lead time. Equipment is stripped to the bare frame, wear components are replaced, and the machine is re-commissioned against agreed acceptance criteria.

Upgrades commonly carried out in parallel, since the machine is already dismantled:

• Obsolete control systems replaced with current, supportable platforms
• Servo conversion of mechanically driven stations
• Guarding and safety circuits brought up to current standards
• Improved changeover arrangements to reduce downtime
• Data output for line reporting and OEE
• CE certification of the rebuilt equipment
