Our hosting provider records standard server request information (“Usage Data”). It is used to deliver the website and to protect it from abuse. We do not use analytics, and we do not build a profile of your visit.

ProCo-STS Limited uses the collected data for various purposes:

Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Where your enquiry concerns a possible order, a quotation, or work you are asking us to scope, we need your contact details in order to respond to that request and to discuss it with you.

Our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). Where an enquiry is more general, we have a legitimate interest in answering it, in directing it to the right person, and in keeping a record of the correspondence. You have contacted us and asked for a reply, so this processing is within what you would reasonably expect and does not override your rights.

In both cases the information we ask for is the minimum needed to reply: your name, your email address and your message. Company is optional.

If you object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, contact us and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.

Retention of Data

ProCo-STS Limited will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

ProCo-STS Limited will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. We are based in the United Kingdom and your enquiry is dealt with here. Some of the services we use to send and receive email process personal data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States.

Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards set out in our providers’ data processing terms, which are intended to give your data a level of protection equivalent to that required by UK data protection law.

We do not use analytics services on this website.

The map on our contact page

Our contact page can show a map of our site. The map imagery is served by OpenStreetMap, so loading it sends a request to OpenStreetMap that includes your IP address. Because of that the map does not load automatically: it shows a placeholder with a button, and no request reaches OpenStreetMap unless you press it, or you have already accepted cookies on this site.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16 (“Children”).
