Automotive supply places a straightforward demand on equipment: achieve the cycle time, achieve the quality target, and do not stop. The tolerance for unplanned downtime is close to zero, and the commercial consequence of a line stoppage sits well above the value of the machine itself.
We design accordingly: accessible for maintenance, instrumented for early fault detection, and specified with wear components that will actually be replaced in service rather than theoretically replaceable.
Equipment is built to report into existing line monitoring systems rather than standing apart from them. Where a customer has an established controls standard (a preferred PLC platform, a network architecture, HMI conventions) we build to it.
Much of our automotive work is for tier one and tier two suppliers, frequently replacing a manual operation that has become the constraint on a cell.
