Ancillary and Upgrade Equipment

ProCo has designed and supplied a number of different upgrade kits and ancillary equipment
for making and packing machinery. For example, frequently we are requested to supply print
registration systems, heat tunnels and packet stacking systems.

Print Registration for Polypropylene Packet Wrap Film                                
ProCo has developed a print registration system that is capable of being adapted to enable
installation on most of the packet wrappers that are typically used in the cigarette and cigar
manufacturing industry. For increased functionality the system utilises embedded PC modules and touch screen technology for the technician and operator interface. The simplicity of the system integration is such that it can be installed within one day. The system uses standard electronic and electrical components that are readily available.

Heat Tunnel for Improving Packet Wrap Quality                                          
As a response to customer requests ProCo has developed a heat tunnel that can easily be
integrated into existing machinery layouts. The unit is independent, simple to operate and is a cost effective solution. The standard unit can cope with a range of packet sizes.

Packet Stacking Device                                         
Another example of ProCo’s ancillary equipment is the independent mechanical stacking device that can be configured to suit the customer’s packet stacking requirements.
